Mountain Gorilla Trekking Safari in Uganda.

Day one: Set off for the Gorilla Safari.
At 6:00 in the morning, you will start your Gorilla safari driving to the south west of Kampala on the Masaka-Mbarara road to the Bwindi Gorilla sanctuary. The drive will take you through towns, homesteads, grasslands, and banana plantations to reach the park in the late afternoon. You will stop at the Equator for photographs and in Mbarara for lunch and get to your destination later in the evening.
Dinner and overnight at Gorilla Resort Camp or Uganda Safari Lodge.

TRANSIT TIME 8 -10 HOURS.

Day two: Gorilla tours in Uganda.
You will be briefed by Park Ranger guides first; later at 9:00 am with your lunch packed, start a 30 minutes - 8 hours strenuous trek to find the Mountain gorillas. Depending on the movement of the gorillas the walk might take between 2-9 hours before you get to encounter one.
Dinner and overnight at Gorilla resort / Buhoma homestead / Buhoma community.

Day Three: Safari to Lake Mburo National Park - Uganda.
After breakfast you will drive towards Mbarara district to Lake Mburo National Park. This calls for an early start of the safari to reach Lake Mburo National Park in the afternoon. You will reach the park to drive and check in your lodge and then go for a walk in the Rwonyo area.
Dinner and overnight at Mantana tented Camp/ Rwonyo Rest Camp.

Day Four: Wildlife tours, Game drive and Canoe ride on Lake Mburo - Uganda.
In the morning after breakfast you will go for a game drive in the park to search for predators and other animal species like the hyenas, leopards, jackals, buffaloes, zebras, impalas, Topis and elands. After the game drive you will return to the Lodge for late breakfast and lunch and then in the afternoon you will go for a canoe ride on Lake Mburo to view water game; hippos, crocodiles, and buffaloes at the shores not forgetting the birds.
Dinner and overnight at Mantana Tented Camp / Rwonyo Rest Camp.

Drive back to Kampala from your gorilla tour.
Have breakfast and then drive back to Kampala. You will have a game drive enroute to proceed and stop at the equator for photographs. You will reach Kampala in the evening. End of safari.
