Mountain Gorillas, Chimps and Golden Monkey Trekking Safari, Rwanda.

Day one: Transfer from Kigali to Nyungwe forest.
The Rwanda Gorilla Safari starts from Kigali as we transfer through very scenic Hills known as the Mille Collines. Drive through to the edge of the Nyungwe Forest arriving late in the evening for dinner and overnight at the Nyungwe Tented Camp or other.

Day Two: rwanda primates, forest walk, rwanda tour safari.
The forest walk safari starts with your ranger guides leading the way into the forests teeming with primates, birds and other wildlife. On the tour, you may see colonies of Angola Colobus and some species of Golden Monkeys. Later, have your lunch before dinner and overnight at the Nyungwe Tented Camp or other.

Day Three: Chimpanzee trekking safari.
After breakfast, the safari takes us to a different part of the forest to trek a troop of wild Chimpanzees. There after, you depart along the rift Valley and steep hills. After lunch, head north to the Beach Town of Kibuye arriving in the early afternoon. Check in into the Morial Hill Resort. Meal plan - Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner.

Day Four: safari to Lake Kivu, rwanda safari tour.
Breakfast at lesisure before heading to the Shores of Lake Kivu in Gisenyi. The afternoon, you will visit Rosamond Carr's Orphanage for the Children. Later, proceed to your Hotel for dinner and overnight at the Kivu Serena Hotel. Meal plan - Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner.

Day Five: Goldne Monkey safari rwanda tour.
Set up early for driving through cultivated farms arriving for a briefing at the park offices. Start the Golden moneky safari walking through the Bamboo forests. The colonies of the rare Golden Monkeys are sighted feeding in the forest and will be observed for aproximately one hour. There after, transfer to the Sabyinyo Silverback Lodge for overnight.

Day Six: Gorilla tour Rwanda.
After a morning game drive, start the gorilla safari trekking through some thick Mountain Vegetation. The Mountain gorillas will be found in their feeding range and will be viewed for about one hour before returning to your accommodations for meals and overnght. Overnight Sabyinyo Silverback Lodge for overnight.

Day Seven: Rwanda safari.
The gorilla safari ends with a 2 hour drive to Kigali to catch your homeward flight

Mountain Gorilla Safari Rules:
- When you encounter the gorillas always remember to be submissive.
- Do not look at them straight in the face rather give a sideways glance.
- Do not stand over them-crouch instead, stay in a tight group.
- Speak in whispers.
- Do not use flash photography.
- Gorillas are wild.

Most visitors might be tempted to think that the gorillas are tame. On the contrary, our gorillas are wild and they should not be provoked in any way. The ORTPN does not take any responsibility for any injury sustained by wild animals in their habitats, hence;

- Keep your flight distance about 7 metres from the gorillas.
- Do not feed the gorillas.
- Do not entice them to get into contact with you in any way.
- Do not eat in the vicinity of the gorillas.
- Environmental Consciousness.
- Do not litter the park.
- Always burry your faecal.
- Health of the Gorillas.
- Gorilla visits should be avoided if one develops a sever case of flu.Refunds would be considered.
- Do not sneeze towards the Gorillas.
- Do not track if under age- Only 15 years and above can track.
