Chimpanzee Trekking and Gorilla Safari - Uganda.
Day one - Start Chimpanzee Trekking Safari to Kibaale Forest.
You will be picked from your residence early in the morning to head for Kibaale forest on your trekking safari. Driving time to Kibaale forest is about 5-6 hours on a normal day; Later in the afternoon we will arrive at the Chimpanzee Guesthouse, overlooking Nyabikere Crater Lake, where we will take accomodation. Nyabikere Crate Lake is famous for it's ever singing frogs.
Accommodation: Primate Lodge and Bandas/ Chimpanzee Guesthouse/Bandas (just outside Kibaale forest).
Luxury Accomodation: Ndali Lodge or Primate Lodge Kibaale.
Day Two - Chimpanzee Walk in Kibaale Forest National Park - Uganda.
At 8:00 am, you start with the 4 hour chimp walk in Kibaale forest; depnding on that day, you standa chance to see other 10 primattes. Kibaale forest national park is also well known for good butterflies and birding spots which you can enjoy while on chimps safari. There after, in the afternoon we will walk through Bigodi Swamp (home to a community based project).

Day Three - Wildlife safari to Queen Elizabeth National Park - Uganda.
We shall set off early morning for Queen Elizabeth NP traveling through Fort Portal and reach Mweya in Queen Elizabeth NP at about noon, here you will have a clear view of the stunningly beautiful Kazinga Channel joining the two lakes; Edward and Albert. You check in at the accomodation of your choice; have lunch, and in the late afternoon (4.00-7.00pm) we will go on a game drive in the Park.

Day Four - Game drives in Queen Elizabeth National Park - Uganda.
We concentrate the Game drives here to the plains plains of Queen Elizabeth national Park; with thousands of Ugandan kobs, lions, elephants among other wildlife. Also as a part of this wildlife adventure, is a two hours launch trip on the Kazinga channel where we will see all the animals from the waterside. In the evening we will go on a game drive to the mating grounds of the Uganda Kobs. Our day ends back at Mweya peninsula, enjoying a great view of the park.

Day Five - Uganda Safari tour to Kisoro.
In the morning we will leave for Kisoro, driving time is about 8 hours; travel via Kabale and continue through the beautiful landscape also defined as the "Switzerland of Africa; " mountains, lakes, hills with cultivated terraces, tropical rainforest and bamboo forest. On the last hill the landscape unfolds beneath us, taking in the vast planes between Uganda, Rwanda and Congo, with the Virunga volcanoes dominating the view. At the bottom of the valley is Kisoro, where we will stay at the famous Travelers Rest Hotel.

Day Six - Best of Gorilla Tracking Safari in Uganda.
You will travel by car from Travellers Rest Hotel in Kisoro to Nkuringo, in the southern part of Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park (1 hr drive). The briefing about gorilla tracking takes about 45 minutes (7.45am - 8.30am) before you start tracking the gorillas. How soon you find the gorillas varies between days depending on the movements of the gorillas in search of food but once you have found the gorillas, you will be able to spend up to one hour with them! You will be expected back to the starting point by 7.00pm at the latest. We recommend good physical fitness for the gorilla tracking safari as it takes many hours to complete.

Day Seven - Travel Back to Kampala/ End of Safari.
Early in the morning after breakfast we will travel back to Kampala. On the way back to the city you will have lunch in Mbarara town, and after Masaka there will be an opportunity to a stop at the Equator for photography, buy souvenirs, take some tea or coffee.
We shall then travel back to Kampala; get you to your residence/ Air port if you are to fly back home immediately. End of Chimpanzee Trekking and Gorilla Safari.
